Yesterday, a grand jury in Arizona indicted 18 people on charges related to attempting to overthrow the US government by defrauding voters in the 2020 election. The indicted include the state GOP’s chair from 2019 until early 2023; an executive of Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA; state Senator Anthony Kern; former executive director of the Arizona Republican Party; an energy industry executive who lost a 2022 Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat; a local Republican Committee chairman; a Republican precinct committee member; the first vice president of the Arizona Federation of Republican Women; and others.
Seven of the defendants’ names were redacted as they have yet not been served. People have nonetheless pieced together who they are from other information in the indictment. They include: Mark Meadows; Rudy Giuliani; Mike Roman, who was Trump’s director of Election Day operations; John Eastman; and Christina Bobb, a lawyer who worked with Giuliani. Donald Trump is listed as an unindicted co-conspirator.
