If knowledge is power, ignorance is suffering.

There’s an old saying about opinions, they’re like a certain body part: everyone has them, and many of them stink. These days, it seems debates start from a place of ignorance and devolve into childish squabbling. Let’s get back to the days where we debate the finer points of issues, where we start from shared facts, and we don’t sound like to drooling goblins arguing over rotted meat. That’s the goal of this page. (That and examining some intriguing, if not altogether world-altering, topics).
